500 Favorites Giveaway

As of today, my Restless scarf pattern has been favorited 500 times on Ravelry. That calls for a giveaway!

One lucky winner will receive a copy of Elegant Lace, an eBook collection of three of my lace designs--Restless, Anita Caroline, and Stony Brook.

To win, just leave a comment by midnight EST, Friday, June 24, answering this question: Are you working on any lace projects this summer? If yes, which ones?

I'll use a random number generator to pick the winner. Be sure your reply includes a way for me to contact you--such as your Ravelry username or your email addy.

I'm planning on working on at least one lace shawl project this summer, I haven't chosen for sure yet, but it will be one of the shawls from Romy Hill's 7 Small Shawls booklet.

I´m knitting third shawl/scarf of the summer, all by Nancy Bush. I started Peacock tail and leaf scarf, then got distracted with Triangular summer shawl. I finished the latter, then finished the scarf. Now I am working on Lehe square shawl, and enjoying every stitch.

I'm definitely going to make a Nikolai, and am thinking about another Annis, and about playing around with reversible lace patterns. I'll likely make some more lace socks too.

I have a perfect skein of yarn for Restless. It isn't surprising that it is on so many Favorite lists!

I love the look of your patterns. I hope I win! This summer I am working on "Falling Birch Leaves" by Linda Choo. I doubled the width and am knitting until I run out of yarn in order to make it into a stole.

I'm looking for my first lace project, and I already can't wait to do more! I promised my mother a delicate scarf awhile ago. I love the Restless pattern - it's close to what I imagined. I have a fine shimmery yarn picked out in a copper color, bought 3 skeins so maybe there will be some left for another one for me. No surprise this pattern is popular, it's lovely especially with the beadwork you incorporated.

I love knitting lace but at the moment I don't have a lace project on the needles. Am unsure what my next lace will be.

I'm finishing my fourth(!) Zen Rain Shawlette. I would have stopped at three but had to do a KAL!

I love your patterns, your blog...but especially your pictures.

I'm working on several lace projects this summer. I'm finishing up the border on Honey Baby to Knitspot and also have Little Leaves by Susanna IC on the needles to work on next. I'm also teaching a class on Cat Bordhi's Magical Knitting and will be designing a lace moebius for the class to knit this summer. I LOVE the patterns in your ebook too.

Congratulations on 500 faves!
I am in love with shawls, and lacey ones are always welcome! I am just about to finish up "Traveling Woman" (which is not super-lacey) by Liz Abinante, and as soon as that's done I will be starting "Laminaria" by Elizabeth Freeman. I am very excited!

Yes! I'm working on a lace scarf/wrap to give to a lady that bailed me out of painting something my husband volunteered me to paint- it wasn't a paint-by-number either! Thanks for the give away opportunity! BethStitches on Ravelry or bjackson124@gmail.com

Right now I'm knitting Waving Lace socks, if that counts; I just finished up a Swallowtail shawl (I think the 4th time I've knitted that one!) and am thinking of starting something from Victorian Lace Today.

Restless is lovely. The Barefoot color yarn is very appealing and give the project a very summery look combined with the color of the beads.

It's always my intention to start a lace project, especially when I see such beautiful patterns as yours. I have some goregous handspun cashmere for the job but I just keep knitting socks and baby clothes. Maybe this winter when the nights are dark. JennyFlipflops on Ravelry
