What's your favorite summer flower or flowers?

I adore bachelor buttons! I've tried to grow them but I think it gets too hot here in Philly in the summer for them to thrive. In yarn, I'm always looking for that blue!

So instead, my summer flowers are zinnias. So many colors, and I can grow them here successfully.

oh how pretty. Most of the flowers here in florida are cultivated, but I love seeing a field of black eye susans. I haven't seen any in many years.

I always have a hard time pinning down my favorite flowers but this year I would have to vote for my marigolds. They continue to put on a bright and stunning show despite the unforgiving heat and drought.

Dahlias! I cannot live without dahlias. After that it's poppies and simple white daisies.
