Snickers Goes for the Gold

Progress thus far for my Ravellenic Games knitting: three swatches finished for the Swatching Coxswain event, and orange mitts under way for the Cable Steeplechase and Mittens Medley.

Ravellenic Games Begin!

Meanwhile, Snickers shows excellent form in Stitch Dictionary Takeover:

Snickers Takes Over the Stitch Dictionaries

I haven't seen any actual Olympic events yet. Are you watching the Olympic Games?

Pretty impressed with Snickers there! And that "I don't care what you think" look is fabulous.

Not watching, but getting knitting/frogging organized. Feels good!

I haven't seen any of the real Olympics but I'm getting a lot of knitting done!

Good to see Snickers helping.

Snickers definitely takes the gold!

I'm not much of a TV watcher but Reuters news service has an Olympics 2012 app where they post photo highlights of each day's events with links to articles, so I've been following along there.

What lovely swatches! They almost make me wish I had signed up for that event rather than the sweater I'm attempting.

I've been watching the games, perhaps a little too much, as I had to rip out around seven rows last night thanks to a mistake made due to inattention.

I was laughing about this very thing a day or two ago. I don't have a TV, so it's a little tricky to watch any of the Olympics. Although I suppose some of it is available online.

I've also, sadly, not yet started my project. I guess I'm going to have to knit like the wind once I get started, eh? :-)
