Wordless Wednesday: Last Burst of Color

Morning Glories

I photographed these morning glories a week ago; when I saw them again yesterday, they were shriveled and brown. I couldn't bring myself to take another picture. I'd rather remember them as they were, spilling their color and energy into the autumn sky.

Lovely -- and sad how quickly the color can fade . . .

Great photo and colors. I love how the morning glories are always reaching out their vines to the sky. This would make a lovely desktop photo for February when we've all had enough of snow and dreary days.

My husband said the Coleus should have flown south for the winter. Morning Glories too!

Beautiful photo! That blue is one of my favorite colors. The gardens have definitely done a lot of changing this past week... Off to sleep for the winter ahead.
