Cowl Pattern Giveaway

To celebrate the addition of Warble to my Blue Peninsula line, I thought it would be fun to have a little cowl pattern giveaway.

Here's how it works: leave a comment on this post, or like the Blue Peninsula Facebook page, or join the Ravelry Blue  Peninsula group. Do all three to increase your chances!

On Friday morning, I'll pick a winner at random from among the blog comments. On Saturday, one from Facebook. And on Sunday, one from the Ravelry group. Then, on Monday morning, I'll pick three more winners—one each from the blog, Facebook, and Ravelry.

There will be six winners in all, and they can choose a free pattern from among these:

Cowl Mosaic
Clockwise from upper left: Birchleaf, Warble, Biscuit, DeephavenBluetShallows

To make the giveaway even sweeter, I'll send one of the six winners a fragrant, hand-embroidered sachet. Filled with lavender and chamomile, they're perfect for keeping moths away from your yarn and hand knits.

Fragrant Creative Reuse

Embroidered Herbal Sachets

If you're already a member of the Blue Peninsula group on Ravelry, or already like my Facebook page, you are in the running! If you leave a blog comment, be sure to include your Ravelry username or another way to reach you.

Good luck!

P.S. To my western Massachusetts readers: Would you like to learn to embroider? I'm teaching two classes this month at Knack: The Art of Clever Reuse in Easthampton. Come join me for stitching and creative camaraderie in Knack's light-filled crafting studio Saturday, June 21 (Embroidery I) and/or June 28 (Fun Stitches).

Such a delightful giveaway. I love all your patterns and the sweet little sachets remind me of the ones my Grandmother made for our drawers when I was a child.

I'm glad you started this giveaway contest, didn't see your patterns before that. What a lovely group of patterns, any of them would make a lovely cowl and give me a chance to use up some of my abundant stash.

Thanks so much for offering this giveaway contest, made me aware of your lovely patterns. I would certainly have a hard time choosing just one; I would love to use up some of my stash yarn starting a new project.

I really like the birchleaf pattern and thought of making it before.

Your embroidery is so nice. Anything I hand stitch looks messy.

I think my favorite cowl is Biscuit, although they are all so pretty it's hard to decide.

Your sachets are beautiful! I think if I win, I'll give mine away to a friend of mine who also knits. She has a very sizeable stash and is constantly worrying about moths getting to it. :)
