Warbling in June

News on this lovely summer morning: A Carolina wren is singing energetically outside my windows. And Warble is now available in my Ravelry, Etsy, and Craftsy shops.

Pattern: Warble, by Bonnie Sennott
Yarn: Quince and Co. Chickadee in the Sedum colorway
Needles: US #5/3.75mm

Warble is a looped or infinity cowl featuring a symmetrical arrangement of seed stitch, cables, and lace. It's worked flat (back and forth) from a provisional cast on. After blocking, the two ends are joined with a three-needle bind-off to create the loop. The pattern provides instructions for the crochet provisional cast on and three-needle bind-off, as well as helpful links.

It measures 7.5 inches/19 cm height by 49 inches/124.5 cm circumference—a nice length for wearing either as a single loop or doubled around the neck. The cables and lace, framed by crisp seed stitch on each side, look great no matter how you wear it.

The pattern offers the stitch patterns in charts and in written (line by line) format. So whatever your preference, you're covered.

Warbles have been knit in many different colors of Quince and Co. Chickadee since the Scarves, Etc. 2014 collection was published at the beginning of March. Check out all the beautiful Warbles made so far on Ravelry and get inspired to cast on!

Love your new pattern, Warble and hope to cast-on soon. I recently knit your Shallows as a cowl and love it. Haven't decided on what yarn yet. Thanks for your beautiful designs.
