Stitch Journal, Week 38

Happy Autumn Equinox! It's a cliche to say the summer flew by, so I won't. And actually, working on my Stitch Journal project each day has made me realize the summer doesn't fly by at all. The stitching that I did back in June seems like quite a long time ago now. The summer was indeed long and full and rich. Aside from the drought here in Massachusetts, and only a few spells of high heat/humidity, it was a really beautiful and comfortable summer. I have no complaints!

This week's colors: orange and yellow, for maple leaves; green for flora rejuvenated by refreshing rain; pale peach, for the undersides of leaves blown to the ground by rain; grey-brown, for a squirrel burying nuts; tawny beige, for fading nasturtium leaves.

If you are enjoying my Stitch Journal project, I hope you'll consider making a purchase from my Etsy Shop to help support it. Funds are needed for stretchers, professional photography, and a website to serve as home for this project and my other artwork.

If you don't wish to make a purchase but just want to support the project, you can do that, too. Thank you!
