Fine Morning Mitts
The perfect fingerless mitts for spring! Knit in fingering weight yarn, the Fine Morning Mitts feature a column of delicate lace at the outer edge of each hand. They’re worked in the round on double-pointed needles; the pattern provides instructions for two sizes.
Hand circumference: 7 (7.5) inches/18 (19) cm unstretched at widest part of palm
Length: 6.5 inches/16.5 cm from cast-on to bind-off
Ease: These mitts are intended to be worn with zero ease to 1 inch/2.5 cm of negative ease around the palm. Size S/M will comfortably fit a palm circumference of 7.25–8.25 inches/18.5–21 cm (measured above the thumb) and Size L will fit a palm circumference of 8–9 inches/20.5–23 cm (measured above thumb). For a smaller size, try using smaller needles.
Yarn: 135 (150) yds/125 (138)m fingering weight yarn. Sample in size S/M was knit with one skein of Hudson + West Co. Weld 70% U.S. merino wool, 30% U.S Corriedale wool, 200yds/183 m per 1.76 oz/50g skein, colorway: Fawn.
